I played a lot of video games in high school and college. I was the team captain for a collegiate Overwatch team for the University of Colorado from 2017-2018. The school payed for me to attend Dreamhack 2017! I have dabbled in almost everything.

I read a lot of horror and fantasy. I can give you a mediocre tarot card reading.

About Me

I recently completed two years of service with Teach for America. I taught High School Math at all levels up to AP statistics. I was most recently a full time classroom teacher for Algebra 2 and AP Statistics. I'm taking a gap year between TFA and going to grad school. I hope to complete my masters in education to continue supporting students as a teacher!

Experience

I have 2 years of experience as a full time classroom instructor. I have taught AP Statistics, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Geometry. Before that, I have 6 years of tutoring experience in mathematics. Throughout college I tutored students as part of my coursework. In high school I worked part time in the summer.

Approach

I think every student is different. My favourite part of tutoring is personalizing the lesson to best suit any given student. I have made themed materials ranging from minecraft to SCPs. My finest work:
