My daughter has forced me into becoming a world traveler! My next adventure will be in France. I am excited to experience French cuisine, architecture, castles, and culture.

I have three children, two cats, and one dog. I enjoy nature and spending time with family and friends.

Experience

I have been teaching for over 23 years and have a proven track record of growing students and helping them meet their potential. I have been a reading intervention teacher as well as a classroom teacher and have taught grades 1-6. I love working with students from all backgrounds, abilities, and love a new challenge.

Approach

I always loved school and knew I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was very young. Although I was an over achiever, I struggled with comprehension. It was always overlooked because I was a fluent reader. I could read anything but I just didn't understand anything I read. As a teacher, I make it my mission to help students to not just become fluent readers, but to really focus on comprehension so they don't struggle the way I did.
