I love spending time outdoors! Anything that involves being outside I love to do, whether that is running, hiking, walking, etc count me in! I also really enjoy staying active, especially playing sports like soccer, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, etc.

About Me

I am currently a rising senior at St. Edwards University in Austin Texas but I was born and raised in Albuquerque. I love being home over the breaks not only because I get to spend time with my family, but also because I get to admire the beautiful mountains we often take for granted! I am currently double majoring in math and biology and hope to find a career where I can apply both my math and people skills. I genuinely enjoy teaching little kids, especially as an aunt to three beautiful nieces, whom I feel incredibly blessed to have.

Experience

In my freshman year of college, I tutored elementary school-aged kids across the country through an online platform called tutoring. As schoolwork became more demanding, I paused tutoring but continued assisting peers with challenging topics, especially in math during study sessions. This summer I am also helping little cousins practice their reading skills to ensure they are prepared for middle school this fall.

Approach

I know how important it is to be helped out step by step and with lots of detail. I can instantly recall middle and high school teachers who did an amazing job at explaining every step when it came to solving math problems, and their teaching significantly impacted my performance. Not only that but as a student I think it is super important for the teacher to engage their students throughout the learning process. When it comes to math especially it is crucial for the student to know
