About Me

I currently work as a writer in the tutor center at The City College of New York. I am an Interdisciplinary Studies major, with hopes to attend the Mental Health Therapist graduate program at CCNY.

Experience

In tutoring centers across the Bronx I’ve had the opportunity to apply my passion for helping students of all ages achieve academic success. Skilled in developing personalized lesson plans and providing one-on-one support to students with various learning styles. Proven track record of improving grades and test score by up to 35 percent.

Approach

Very early in life I had developed a love for knowledge and helping others. Throughout my educational journey I have always participated in study groups, and helped my peers. As an educator, it is important to me that children have the space and reassurance they need to ask questions and home in on their own learning styles. The most rewarding experience is witnessing a child’s confidence grow, in turning their academic struggles into academic success.
