Learning and experiencing new things has always been a huge passion of mine. I love the unique skills and talents that I have to offer because of my desire to get out and experience various things in life.

About Me

I enjoyed learning in school, as well as helping to teach others. I've always had a knack for being able to present topics in different ways that people learn. I spent lots of time providing tutoring while I was in high school and college, and I have spent a number of years since then working with younger children with special needs. Knowing and understand the reasons behind things has always helped me with learning different ways to get to the end(s).

Experience

I had multiple opportunities to work as a tutor while in high school and college. I specifically tutored other students in math, English (reading & writing), as well as being a formal note-taker for a couple of classmates in college.

Approach

Not everybody learns in the same way as others, so it is important to be attentive to the learner in order to figure out how they can personally retain the information. I have always found it to be helpful understand the "why" behind things, so that it is easier to determine various methods to get to the same end results.
