About Me

Hi there!

My name is Ismail. I am a Ph.D graduate in Mathematics from Caltech! I have been tutoring students for more than 10 years. I have also been a TA for several mathematics courses throughout my academic career. I have a strong background in pure mathematics but can also help with physics. I always enjoy it when I can effectively explain difficult mathematical concepts in very simple and fun ways.

I love to teach and have tutored for the past 10 years. I was also a tutor with Caltech Y from 2020 to 2022. When I am not doing mathematics, I enjoy reading and dancing!

Approach

My very down-to-earth way of explaining mathematics makes everything clear and concise. I have tutored students who went from hating mathematics courses to performing very well in exams. My grasp of Probability, Linear Algebra, and Calculus is very strong since I have regularly taken these courses. I have an iPad and an Apple pen! So we can do Online tutoring and I have an effective way of doing that so I am sure you will enjoy that experience if you choose online tutoring.
