About Me

I am a junior Nursing student at connecticut-state-university">Southern Connecticut State University, outside of school my interests include fishing, cooking and competing in triathlons.

Experience

At Southern I have tutored for over a year as both a appointment based tutor and a tutor for entire classes in subjects including Statistics, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Psychology, along with other math and science classes as needed.

Approach

Through tutoring and being tutored throughout my life, I believe the most effective approach is one that involves the student working through the problem with a guiding hand, I do not believe in spoon feeding the information and believe that students will have the biggest breakthroughs by helping fix common mistakes and misconceptions through repeated practice.
