I am an avid reader. I love swimming, camping, and spending time with my family, and I can still do a cartwheel at 46!

About Me

I have been married for 20 years. We have 2 children. Our son is 18 and begins college in the fall. Our daughter is 14 and will be a freshman in the fall. She is an English horseback rider and we spend most of our time at Horse Shows.

Experience

I am a veteran educator of 23 years. I have taught K-5. Teaching reading is my superpower. I have been an MTSS facilitator and am currently serving as a 3-5 Literacy Coach.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with learning. I never wanted anyone to feel the way I did so I became a teacher. I have high energy, tons of knowledge, and love to teach. I allow my students to learn at their own pace but with love and pushing.
