I am a bench chemist for a clinical laboratory in Dallas. I perform diagnostic tests and pathologies.

Experience

Having served with City Year, Dallas as a former Americorps member, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience for students. My time teaching at the University of Texas Arlington and Tarrant County College further fueled my dedication to volunteer work in education.

Approach

Growing up in the Philippines, I encountered the challenges of unequal access to education. The disparities in educational opportunities and varying levels of quality posed significant hurdles for many students, including myself. This environment fueled my determination to advocate for equitable education and inspired me to work towards creating more inclusive learning environments wherever possible.
