Fun Facts
Sports have always been a big part of my life. I played basketball and softball and coached middle school girls. Currently, I'm learning to play golf.
About Me
My educational background includes a master’s degree in health science with a concentration in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Florida. Florida is my original home, but I've also resided in various states, including Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Ohio. I have been a Texas resident for one year. I relocated from the DFW area to the Permian Basin this past February to begin my new role as a Graduate Advocate at The University of Texas Permian Basin.
Experience
My professional journey in vocational rehabilitation counseling spans over a decade, during which I have had the opportunity to work with various populations, including youth, adults, and veterans with disabilities, empowering them to overcome barriers and achieve their career aspirations through tailored support and guidance. In addition, I have lent my expertise as a Clinical Supervisor for students enrolled in the Rutgers University M.S. Rehabilitation Counseling program.
Approach
My goal is to empower future leaders and change-makers by providing them with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to succeed and make a meaningful impact in their communities and the world at large.
