About Me

I recently graduated from Georgetown University with a Master's degree in Physiology and Biophysics. As I prepare for medical school, I am working as a Medical Assistant at Sibley Memorial Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, where I am gaining crucial exposure to the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Experience

During my tenure at America Reads, America Counts , I served as mentor and tutor for 4th grade students in Math and Reading curriculum. Following those roles, I was promoted to team lead of a cohort of over 100 undergraduate volunteers in the program. These experiences provided me with the skills necessary to motivate college athletes at the maryland">University of Maryland, Gossett Center of Academic Achievement. Subsequently, I began private home tutoring students in K-12 disciplines within the DMV.

Approach

As a child, I excelled in school and struggled once I entered college. The main factor contributing to my difficulties was my lack of confidence. Transitioning from a small town to a large state school proved to be a significant challenge. However, during this journey, I acquired essential skills such as, allowing myself the grace to fail and recover, establishing sustainable study and life habits, and embracing the support of others.
