Fun Facts
I was born and raised in NYC, which lends itself to creating a rich sense of culture and expression. I enjoy. Broadway shows, plays, knitting, animals, and family. Daily mindfulness practices allow for clearer
thinking and rationalization of an often chaotic world.
About Me
My degrees are a Masters in Social Work, and a Masters in Science of Teaching (K-6, GenEd and SpEd), from Fordham University. I currently hold an LMSW (Licensed Master Social Work) in the state of New York. I am also a Mandated Reporter for NYS OCFS (NYS Office of Child and Family Services). Before my Master's, I obtained my BS in Psychology from Fordham University with a focus on clinical work and women, gender, and sexuality studies.:
Experience
I have privately tutored children and adults since 2010 and 2018 respectively. This has allowed me to utilize both my social work and teaching degrees approaching education with a social-emotional lens to make sure that children are being taught the way they need to be taught.
Approach
My approach is child-centered or individual-focused. Everyone’s needs are different and should not be universalized.
