Fun Facts
I love DIY Chemistry! It is boring to merely look at equations, much more exciting to melt metal, liquify air, and grow gems!
About Me
I am currently a technician at Intel. I have previously worked as a process and quality engineer in the semiconductor industry, and have been a part of start-ups involving 2D-materials synthesis (graphene, gallanene, etc.).
Experience
I have been an instructor in industry, helping to teach and train individuals from various backgrounds in numerous fields and technologies (computers, electrical, chemical, systems, physics, statistics, etc.). I was a teaching assistant during college, tutoring others on engineering thermodynamics. In high school, I was a tutor for math all of my senior year.
Approach
I like to give the underpinnings and fundamentals for any subject that I teach, as this helps a student memorize the material, and adapt to new situations. I make sure that there is a firm grasp of that foundation, then I focus on the practical, what the student needs to succeed. With that plan, nearly all of my students have lasting success in the subject I teach them.
