I love to play chess and swim. I clamped and hiked through the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Someday, I hope to go backpacking in an extravagant place.

About Me

I am a fun yet calm person who is eager to learn new things. I recently received my Masters Degree from Maryland University. My ultimate goal is to help the youth reach their full potential.

Experience

I started tutoring my classmates in Algebra during our first year of college. Then I moved on to lower levels as I learned that a lot of skills have to be grasped at an early age to build that foundation of various concepts. As an experienced tutor, I've had the opportunity to teach and learn from students in various grades.

Approach

As a child learner, I found it difficult to understand what I was reading in grade school. Fortunately, in middle school, I had a tutor who broke down every paragraph and asked me questions about them to help me process what I was reading. As an adult, I developed a note-taking method with a few other skills to overcome this obstacle.
