About Me
I am an experienced teacher and private tutor from New York City. I have a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland. After Scotland, I moved to Spain to pursue teaching and worked for 2 years as an ESL teaching assistant. I am proficient in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Maths, English, and Spanish languages.
Experience
As a teaching assistant in Spain, I had the opportunity to work directly with students to enhance their education in the subjects of biology, chemistry, and maths in the English language. I worked full-time for 2 years and was delighted every day to come to school to be a mentor to these young minds. I understand the need for young minds to be heard. At the start of every session, I intend to get to know my pupil's personality, interests, and personalized needs. Science shows us that memory is retained the strongest when there is an emotional foundation to the information.
