Education is a significant part of my life. I enjoy learning new things and sharing knowledge with others, always eager to inspire and be inspired by those around you.

About Me

I am a recent college graduate with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology, I am a first generation Latino who grew up understanding the value of education and the impact it has on our lives and communities. On my free time I love to connect with people in an interpersonal level, usually with a mic and piano singing which is the language that unites us an people. I am a forever student and learning new things everyday.

Experience

I have worked closely with the Education department at Brooklyn College and have provided support for Men of Color to join the Classroom, I have tutored and have been Teachers Assistant for various subjects and have been continuing my connection to my students who are undergoing their Junior and Senior Year. I have a love for education and witnessing the "AHA Moment" in the eyes of my students".

I have also volunteered with NYCares and provided an hour and thirty minute sessions in local school

Approach

I believe that everyone has a right to education and to learn, I also am aware that we all digest information differently depending on the style we learn. My objective is to understand how a student thinks and tailor my education plan to their style, set attainable short term goals that'll incentivize them to work harder.
