One passion of mine is that I love reading. My favorite genre is Romance and I have read 37 books in 2024 (my goal is 50 books).

About Me

I graduated from Texas A&M University on the premed track. While I am still pursuing medicine, I share a passion for teaching. As a student, I was a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader for Introductory Biology and Chemistry.

Experience

As an SI Leader, I am comfortable tutoring students in higher level science courses.

Approach

Growing up, both my parent spent most of the day at work. Therefore, I took on the role of caring for my much younger brother after school. This involved helping him with his homework and assisting him as he completed work books. I believe this is what started my interest in teaching others. Through my experience as an SI leader, I learned to hone several teaching methods such as using analogies to make concepts easier to grasp or guiding students to a target by asking questions.
