I’m a self-taught multimedia artist specializing in 35mm photography. I also create collage art by combining film photos, vintage magazines, acrylic paint, and other materials.

About Me

I recently moved to Chicago from Southern California and am now seeking teaching opportunities. Although my experience is primarily in writing and marketing, I've realized that I thrive when teaching English, writing, and reading. As I embark on this new chapter in Chicago, I am eager to pursue a career in education.

Experience

As a former instructor at Sylvan Learning Center, I developed a strong sense of patience while guiding students through reading comprehension, sentence and paragraph formation, and learning English as a second language. In my role as a Writing Instructor, I have taught students ranging from ages 5 to 15.

Approach

When I was seven, my family and I moved to the US from the Philippines. My third-grade teacher played a crucial role in my English learning journey, dedicating her time to help me advance by enrolling me in reading clubs and after-school programs. Her commitment and understanding left a lasting impression on me, and I strive to bring the same compassion and support to my own teaching.
