Fun Facts

I love sports, and I have been swimming for over a decade of my life. I am the oldest of three, and everyone in my family is named beginning with the letter "m". I love dancing and I do it when I am happy. I also sing all the time.

About Me

I am a freshman at Hofstra University and I hope to get my degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. I am considering a career in Anesthesiology or in genetic research.

Experience

I have been tutoring people for free for the longest time, but since college is full of expenses, I have finally decided to do it through an organization. I have volunteered extensively with the marine corps in the past, and I have a lot of experience helping with office work (proofreading personal correspondence, making phone calls, writing short letters). I love helping people learn what I know, and i learn more and more as I teach others!

Approach

I always had trouble remembering things by just reading things in textbooks and trying to remember facts. I realized that the key is to understand, and to make it interesting for yourself when the subject is dry. I make my memorization techniques as wie4rs as possible, because we always remember the things that are out of the ordinary! It brings life to any subject, and I find I can't hate any subject anymore.
