Fun Facts
I’m a professional musician! I’ve played a few festivals with a couple of different artists. I also enjoy rock climbing and water sports, I grew up surfing in Southern California, and whenever I visit friends in Reno we love to take the boat out for a day on the lake.
About Me
I'm a new mechanical engineering transfer student at WSU Vancouver! I enjoy the outdoors, love to read and possess an energetic and upbeat personality. I recently moved to this area to pursue a better college education and experience living in a brand-new place.
Experience
I’ve tutored K-12 math for 2 years at a Mathnasium in Sparks and was promoted to a lead tutor there for my second year. I've also tutored college-level math and physics for 1 year at the Truckee Meadows Community College tutoring center, including running supplemental instruction sessions for physics!
Approach
I’m a firm believer that math is complicated because classroom environments struggle to cater to each individual’s approach to learning. I like to take time to make sure a student fully understands a technique, growing until they can replicate it on difficult problems without my aid.
