About Me

I am an English for Academic Purposes(EAP) adjunct professor at Miami Dade College, where I've been dedicated to fostering student success for the past 11 years. I also had the opportunity to teach second graders, where I taught all subjects, and extended into summers, where I helped young learners develop essential reading skills. My passion for teaching knows no age limit—whether guiding little ones in their first steps toward literacy or helping college students master academic writing, reading, and presentation skills. I find immense joy in helping others discover the power of language.

Experience

My journey in teaching English began in 2009 as a member of the Florida Literacy Coalition, where I tutored adults who spoke English but lacked reading and writing skills. While pursuing my college education, I gained valuable experience as an admissions advisor and counselor. After earning my Master's in TESOL, I immediately started teaching ESOL/EAP classes at Miami Dade College.
