I have a disability and experience working with students with disabilities! I went to Ghana last year for a social work internship. I love kayaking and gardening! I have a dog and a cat.

About Me

I am in my last year as a BSW student! I currently tutor fifth graders. I have experience working with children abroad. I am very good at managing my time. I currently have a 3.75 GPA. I am a part of ASU’s Theta Tau chapter of Phi Alpha.

Experience

I have been tutoring fifth graders for over a month now. I have experience tutoring high schoolers. I also have experience tutoring college peers. I helped my siblings with a variety of subjects growing up.

Approach

I struggled in school growing up due to having a disability. I now know we all learn differently and it is important to meet each student where they’re at. I make efforts to get to know my students and to make coursework interesting for them. I am eager to work on a variety of struggles and challenges in school with students.
