Fun Facts

I love to read and can read a book and a half every day. I read all sorts of books: such as true crime, Amish fiction, history and all kinds of fiction. So the library is my best friend, I get 80 books a t time between the two where I live. I love watching TV, especially Disney movies and shows and even crime drama. I love music, my favorite is Taylor Swift and country. For all of those I am willing to try once and if I like it great if not that is ok. Lastly, I love cuddling with my kitties.

About Me

I graduated last November with my Bachelors in history with a 4.0 GPA and was one the dean's and president's list. And January of this year I started my masters in criminal justice with the overall goal of becoming paralegal and have maintained at 4.0 throughout the program as well. I will be done with it next July. This has all been done at Grand Canyon University. Tutoring is the best fit as it is flexible enough so I can focus on my goals and helping my students succeed in school as well.

Experience

For the past five years, I have tutored students of all different age levels and grades and they all see great improvement after working with me. There is one student that had a D in Algebra and by the end of the semester of working with me she was getting an A. And there are many other success stories as well and in general all my students see a mark improvement in there grades after tutoring with me. I bring my love of learning to each student and they see and respond to it, and it shows.

Approach

I look at each student as unique and having unique learning abilities. So I will keep trying different approaches till we find the one that works. As someone with high functioning Autism I get how important it is to have patient teachers who will help you and not get mad. I would not be where I am today if it weren't for those teachers, going to school and getting my Master's. And thriving at it. So I take my story and share it, to prove anything is possible and it encourages the whole family.
