Fun Facts

A really fun fact about me is that I love animals and insects. I have a lot of pets that range from cats and dogs to chickens and frogs. I have a huge array of ever-growing plants. I also love reading and traveling and I have been to over 10 countries.

About Me

I am in my first year of college studying Forensics and Criminal Justice. Eventually, I want to study Entomology and go into a similar career field.

Experience

Starting in Middle School, I would often stay behind, or even be asked by teachers, to help classmates or lower-classmen with homework. As I got older, I volunteered a lot at different programs to help students understand all types of subjects.

Approach

When I started school back in Kindergarten, I was fortunate enough to have an amazing teacher who taught us the different ways that people learn. I still keep in contact with her and keep her teaching methods in mind. I like to establish a connection with whomever I am helping. I like to find out what kind of learner they are and lean towards that method. I try to find out what they do understand about whatever they may be struggling with and build off that in whatever way helps them.
