Fun Facts

When I’m not teaching or in the lab, I’m either hanging out with my cat, immersed in video games, or enjoying a great movie!

About Me

I’m a junior Biochemistry major at San Diego State University, where I conduct research focused on developing medications for cancer, arthritis, and other diseases. I love math for how it challenges the mind, but what excites me most is how it can be applied to solve real-world problems in science. My goal is to show students how math is not only fascinating but also a powerful tool in fields like medicine and beyond.

Experience

I have over a year of experience vista">tutoring high school students in Integrated Math 1, 2, and 3, covering arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, as well as physics and chemistry. I’ve also worked with college students in calculus, linear algebra, physics, computer programming, and chemistry. In addition to high school and college students, I’m comfortable vista">tutoring elementary and middle school students in math, science, reading, and writing, helping them build a strong foundation

Approach

My teaching style comes from my own experiences in school. I faced some tough challenges because of a learning disability and didn’t always do well at first. But with hard work and the help of great vista">tutors, I was able to turn things around and find success. This experience inspires me to connect with my students and help them achieve their dreams.

I tailor my lessons to fit each student’s interests and learning style, making learning fun and engaging.
