Fun Facts

One fun fact about me is that I am on my university's equestrian team! I ride a hunter/jumper, which is the same type of horseback riding you see in the Olympics! I also have two cats: an all-black cat named Omen, and an all-white cat named Oracle.

About Me

I am a junior art therapy major with a neuroscience minor at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. After I graduate I hope to attend Drexel University to receive my masters and licensing in Clinical Art and Play Therapies.

Experience

I have a baby sister, so a lot of my experience comes from helping her with her homework growing up. Additionally, I worked as a baby sitter for most of my high school career; I have spent many hours working with younger kids on both understanding their homework as well as learning good study habits.
For more professional experience, I have worked as a TA for both middle and high school classes, and have lots of experience teaching and assisting students from a variety of skill levels and ages.

Approach

Growing up I struggled to succeed academically due to my ADHD. I tried every trick under the sun, as well as many different medications. After years of struggling I finally accepted that I would just have to brute force my way through school if I wanted to be successful. This led to very notorious habit to fall asleep anywhere, missed and forgotten assignments, and a very low sense of self worth.
