About Me

I am a Campus Pastor and dad to a high school student. Every day I engage people of different life paths, histories, cultures, and faiths intersect to inform the worldviews of those who meet each day. I love to show how these things inform our understanding of others.

Experience

I have taught both Social Studies and Literacy in the N.C. Public Schools. When not teaching, I have coordinated after-school enrichment activities to support classroom and lifelong learning for students.

Approach

As a student, I was studious but found it difficult to keep up in school. It was not until I discovered learning challenges in college that things turned around. As a result, I find learning best occurs we people explore and engage material based on their personalities over the cookie-cutter approach.
