Fun Facts
l love dancing, so much so that I became a licensed Zumba instructor! Creating fun, energetic, and dynamic routines is my favorite part of being an instructor, second to seeing people enjoy themselves while getting good exercise. Another passion of mine is creating handmade jewelry—it's a great way to express my creativity. And here's a fun tidbit: I love capybaras! Their calm and friendly nature makes them one of my favorite animals.
About Me
Hi there! I’m Zhanna (Zee), a Communication Studies graduate from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, with minors in Leadership and Political Science. Over the years, I’ve worked in fields like mortgage and leasing, where I developed strong computer and communication skills. I’ve also coached swim teams, led dance groups, and worked as a home health aide, all of which have strengthened my teaching and leadership abilities. My love for technology started early—before I even reached middle school, I was learning how to assemble and disassemble computers, thanks to my dad. I’ve always enjoyed troubleshooting and solving problems, and I’m excited to help others improve their computer skills. I also have a YouTube channel where I read stories aloud, combining my love for reading with a fun, engaging format. I look forward to supporting others in their learning journey!
Experience
I started to learn how to navigate computers at a young age, including assembling and troubleshooting them. Throughout high school, college, and into my professional life, I’ve continued to refine my computer skills by working with various software and solving technical issues. In every role, I’ve become the go-to person for tech support, which has prepared me to teach basic computer skills in a clear and approachable way.
Approach
My approach is all about making learning fun and tailored to each student’s needs. When I was learning to read, I found that creativity—like bringing characters and information to life with drawings or highlighting—made a huge difference, and I use the same strategies with my students. I’m patient and believe in starting at a point that feels most comfortable for you, whether that’s going back to the fundamentals or moving forward from where you already are.
