I am a lifelong learner. I’ve tried hard to know a little bit about as much as I can and I’ve spent my entire life cultivating the skill. My first time tutoring was in 2nd grade - I tutored kindergarteners in addition, and I’ve had the bug to teach ever since.

About Me

I graduated from NC State in 2019 and have plied the trade of being a polymath - an individual with a wide range of knowledge and learning. As a hobby, I’ve spent quite a bit of my time deepening my knowledge in science, math, literature, psychology, and philosophy. One of my favorite parts of developing a skill is getting to share it.

Experience

I’ve been tutoring others since I was 7 - I helped kindergartners solidify their skills in learning to add as well as sat with the same age group as they learned to read. I played an integral role in helping my sister learn to read - reading entire chapter books aloud to her by myself when I was 9. When I finished assignments early in class, I passionately helped others every day for the entirety of my educational career through college.

Approach

My approach to tutoring support is often catered to the individual I’m working with. I like to find out first how much someone knows about the topic and I try to encourage and empower the learner to do as much as they can on their own. Learning should feel fun, and I try to build confidence and joy in the areas I work in.
