Fun Facts
I’m a Bay Area native who loves to embrace new adventures—like skydiving! When I’m not soaring through the skies, you can find me painting my latest masterpiece or tending to my garden. I believe that creativity and a little bit of nature make life truly vibrant!
About Me
I am a recent graduate of St. George’s University of London Medical School, currently taking a gap year before applying to residency programs in psychiatry. I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology and classics at Lewis & Clark College, where I made the Dean's List for three years and received honors for my thesis in papyrology.
Experience
I have diverse tutoring experience, having taught college-level statistics, psychology, and classics. I also worked with a Rett Syndrome clinic, where I assisted with hippotherapy and engaged children in learning about horses. Additionally, I contributed to a fiddle camp, teaching violin to children and fostering their love for music. My experiences have equipped me with a unique skill set to support and inspire students across various subjects.
Approach
My approach to tutoring is rooted in the positive encouragement, persistence, and practice I experienced with my math tutor in high school. I believe in meeting students at their level, and patiently guiding them as we build on their existing knowledge. I emphasize the importance of continued practice for skill mastery, creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to explore and grow.
