I have a deep love of languages. I am fluent in Spanish and can hold conversations in Japanese, German, and Irish Gaelic.
History is one of my favorite subjects. I love placing myself in the mindset of different times to consider how circumstances have changed throughout history.

About Me

I hold two Bachelor’s degrees: one in Music Performance and one in Elementary Studies. I love to learn and explore the myriad ways education is interconnected. The ties between subjects are the fuel for my passion for supporting students.

Experience

I have worked as a tutor for over three years. I have helped students learn to read and comprehend what they are reading as well as providing a more concrete foundation for mathematic principles.

Approach

I was fortunate to be the classmate my peers would come to when they didn’t understand a new concept. I believe that all knowledge is accessible; you just need help finding your connections to the material. I love facilitating aha! moments, because nothing makes me more passionate than seeing the piece click for the person I’m working with.
