One passion people quickly learn about me is music is music history. In my free time, I love going for walks and watching documentaries and cartoons.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I majored in economics and minored in mathematics. I currently work as a teaching assistant for several undergraduate economic courses and my goal is to obtain my Ph.d in economics and to become a professor.

Experience

I have been tutoring, mentoring, and working as a peer mentor for the past three years. I have worked with mainly undergraduate and high school students and I have worked as a teaching assistant for several undergraduate economic and mathematics courses.

Approach

As a younger student, I had a hard time focusing, staying mentally stimulated during my classes, and feeling supported. Therefore, as an educator I focus on working at my students' pace, keeping my sessions engaging through visuals and using an interactive whiteboard with the students, and sharing my passion for the subjects while making it accessible for the students to enjoy as well.
