I enjoy knitting, embroidery, photography, and sewing. I have two dogs and no children. I also love to play video games like The Sims and Zoo Tycoon. I love all kinds of cartoons, but I am not a big movie person. My favorite kind of music is classical music, and I love to go to the symphony and the opera!

About Me

I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. From an early age, I always enjoyed learning new things; this came in handy when I went to college at Texas Tech University, and eventually attended, and graduated from, law school. I have one sister, who is a nurse, and I now live in Crowley, Texas, with my family and my two dogs, Piper and Sydney. Someday, I hope to be a family law attorney, so that I can help families who are going through a really tough time.

Although I don't have a whole lot of formal experience tutoring, I have helped my nieces and nephews with their homework. I also helped a few students learn Latin while I was attending Texas Tech. I want to be a tutor because I am proud of my education and it is a big part of who I am; I want to share that confidence and fulfillment with other people.

I enjoy learning, so I want to help others see education as a rewarding experience as well. Unfortunately for most of us, classroom learning might not be so enjoyable because our different learning styles create frustration and inhibit the joy and natural gravitation we have toward learning. My approach is to help you find HOW you learn so that we can customize an approach that tailors to your specific strengths and weaknesses. In doing so, I hope to relieve some of the frustration you might feel and help you gain the confidence and understanding to grasp and excel in your subject.
