About Me

I have worked as a math tutor for Chicago Public Schools. I care about helping students achieve their full potential and rising to successfully meet any challenges they might have in terms of academic difficulty. I am a disciplined young man who is always punctual and willing to learn new skills.

Experience

I have worked as a math tutor for Chicago Public Schools, tutoring Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Algebra 2. I additionally volunteered as a tutor for a summer program for children with autism, where I taught Direct Instruction Pre-Algebra to a high school student, music to elementary school students with autism, and Direct Instruction Spoken English to Spanish-speaking parents. I hope to build on these experiences and help your students excel academically and develop self-conf

Approach

I always ask questions to try and engage my students and try to demonstrate visually how to do a math problem. I like to engage my students by using real-world examples.
