I love to garden and make my food from scratch when I can! I am also super passionate about making higher education as accessible as possible. I also have my own marketing business!

About Me

I am a junior at Arizona State University (Online Campus) and just transferred from a California community college. There I earned my Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Language Arts, and Humanities, and my Associates Degree for Transfer in Psychology. In my second and final year, I worked on campus as a mentor to freshman and prospective students and got on the Dean's list. At Arizona State, I am in the Psi Chi Psychology Honours Society, the National Society for Leadership and Success, and academically in the top 30% of my class with an unweighted GPA of 4.17. I currently work as a mental health peer educator at my old community college, and I am the Active Minds chapter President.

Experience

I have plenty of experience being a mentor to others. I have also always served as a tutor among my college friends, often hosting study nights, where I usually have to reiterate the lecture they heard earlier in the week. I also have tutoring experience in my current and previous positions as a peer educator.

Approach

I am someone who loves learning, but I did not always know that. It would be better to say that I did not know the learning style for me. I am a kinesthetic learner, like a lot of people are, and I find it interesting trying to incorporate other people's learning styles into my lessons
