Fun Facts

Even though it might sound boring and weird, I LOVE reading fiction books! Also, I recently learned how to knit and I am in the process of knitting a scarf; I'm just not sure when I will finish because I am easily distracted. I am the second child of three, and even though I have lived more than 10 years in Arizona, I have never seen the Grand Canyon. I love music and dancing!

About Me

I graduated top 1% from Glendale High School and currently I am attending Grand Canyon University. I have been attending GCU for a year and half now and I am in the process of getting into the nursing program for next fall. All three semesters at Grand Canyon University, I have bee non the Dean's list. In the future, I would like to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

In high school, I was involved in the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (a math club), and Interact club which focus on community service. For community service, I would phoenix">tutor some fellow students that were falling behind in class after school. I feel anxious and excited at the same time to be able to help kids that may feel uneasy with math, science or writing. It always makes one feel content with ourselves when we are able to give back to the community.

As far as I can remember, I was a child that was always too afraid to ask for help when I felt stuck and could not understand assignments. I was always afraid of being wrong and so I would keep it to myself and try to figure things out on my own. As a phoenix">tutor, I want children to not be scared to ask questions that will help them succeed. If I have learned anything is that there is no such thing as a wrong question. I want to motivate them to freely ask what they have in mind at all times.
