One of the fun things about me is my passion for video games. I love to spend my downtime playing good adventure games which completely engage me.
About Me
I graduated and got my associates degree from Estrella Mountain Community College. My current goal is to obtain a certification as a pharmacy technician. I am planning to take the exam by the fall of 2015.
Experience
The first time I tutored someone was when I was still in college. My reading teacher asked me to help her son who was struggling in algebra/arizona/phoenix">pre algebra. It lasted about 4 days to a week, and I got him caught up. From fall 2013 to today work part time helping college students with their math homework.
Approach
The method I like to use when helping students is the Socratic method. This method engages students by asking them questions. It helps to get them thinking. Sometimes you simply have to give examples for how something is done. That's how I approach students.

I took algebra was in high school and got an A in it. I spent my down time self studying it to better understand the concepts. Today I use the knowledge I inherited from my efforts to help college students.

I took algebra 2 when I was in high school and got an A in it. When at home, I would study during my down time to better understand the material. Today I use that experience from self studying to help college students with their homework.

I started off on calculus when I first enrolled in college. I completed the course with an A. Like with algebra, I also tutor people in calculus.

I took geometry during the course of the summer in between my freshman and sophomore year. I passed it with a C. Today I understand the geometry better then when I enrolled in the course, it was fast pace and all I needed to do was take a closer look at t
Pre Algebra Tutoring
My experience with prealgebra began in middle school. I was in special education to help me better understand math, because I had good teacher, I grasp the concept with little difficulty. Overall I got faster in my arithmetic as a result.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I took precalculus when I was a senior in high school. I was already ahead on the concepts being learned since it involved trigonometry and algebra, which I have studied during my downtime. I completed the course with an A.
Trigonometry Tutoring
I never took trigonometry, but I studied the material out of a text book I borowed. It wasn't easy at first but I gradually made since of it. I use my knowledge to help college students who struggle with these concepts.
Algebra Tutoring
I learned algebra when I was in 8th grade in conjunction with prealgebra. I was in special education due to my slow learning comprehension. But I had good teachers who picked me up to speed, and today I have a clear understanding.
