Fun Facts

Some fun facts about me are that I'm a food lover! I love going out with family and friends and trying new types of food. I also love dogs, I have a small chihuahua named Canela and I love to take her on walks!

About Me

I graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor's in Business Administration but when I worked at a daycare I found out I loved working with kids and wanted to be a teacher. So, now I'm currently working towards obtaining my teaching credential and be able to become an elementary teacher.

Experience

For the past 2 years, I've been a Teacher's Aide for first and third-grade students. Over the past 2 summers, I have also been a Camp Counselor for kids ages 7-12 and I was a Teacher for a summer program at a local school.

Approach

Coming from a family of immigrants, I understand the struggles and challenges of being in a new culture and language. I've been blessed to be able to have the support of my parents and especially teachers who have guided me from elementary, middle and high school and helped me challenge myself and overcome the language barrier I was facing.
