While it’s separate from my career path, I do want to publish a book of poetry one day, but I’m so shy about sharing it with people in person.

About Me

Hello! My name is James and I’m currently a senior at Arizona State University with a major in English. I plan on getting my Master in Library and Information Science to work as an archivist in the future. In my ideal world, I would love to manage an archive on LGBTQ history, specifically the AIDS Epidemic.

Experience

The majority of my experience is with middle school students, working on English, social studies, and study habits. However, I’m much more passionate about more advanced topics in English literature and history and therefore, tend to enjoy working with high school and college students.

Approach

I believe that the key to being an effective tutor is figuring out what learning styles work best for certain students. I’ve found that individual attention and working with learning styles lead to breakthroughs in students’ education.
