I love gardening. I am an avid reader and love music I also write poetry, short fiction, and flash fiction.

About Me

I am a full-time Instructor of Psychology at Wharton County Junior College (since 2012). In addition, I have taught psychology at Home Ed Plus (2003-004) which is home school cooperation. I have also taught ESL classes at Lutheran Social Services of the South (1999-2002) and at Wharton County Junior College (January 2024 to the close of the program in June 2024). I consider it an honour to be able to help others learn and improve their lives through the gleaning of knowledge. I am fully aware of what achieving a higher education has meant not only for my life but also for the lives of my children and the countless number of students I have taught over the last nearly 28 years.

Approach

As mentioned above, I have been fortunate to have been able to achieve the level of education I have attained. I owe this to family members who taught me the art of loving to learn as well as several dedicated teachers I had in elementary, junior high, and high school continuing that love of learning in me.
