I have a huge love for reading and writing, and I’ve actually edited for multiple published books! In my free time you can catch me either reading or studying up on music theory and practicing flute, guitar, or piano!

About Me

I am currently a school receptionist at a Jewish Day School in Chicago and originally went to school to be an educator. I have a background in tutoring Preschool through Elementary in all subjects, and middle school in English, writing, reading comprehension, and various music subjects. I am currently working towards getting my bachelor's in Communications at Southern New Hampshire University. I was in all honours and AP classes throughout high school, graduating with a 4.1 GPA, and in the National Honors Society.

Experience

I have been tutoring kids as well as my peers as far back as middle school, and I have training from the state of Illinois in tutoring. I have tutored kids ages 6-17, and have a deep understanding of appropriate workload depending on each kid's age and individual needs. Approach

When I was younger, school did not come naturally to me and I found it difficult to keep up with the workload. My family wasn’t able to get me tutoring, so I went to the internet and taught myself various studying methods to help me better keep up with my academics. While difficult, this experience has helped me become a well-rounded tutor who can empathize with my students and provide them with the best service I can.
