I am the Testing and ESOL Coordinator at Everglades Preparatory Academy. I have a bachelor's degree in management from Florida A&M University. I am a passionate educator with a knack for making learning fun! I enjoy helping students grow, learn, and achieve their goals. Experience

As an educator for 15 years, I have taught ELA and Reading at the middle school level. I have tutored students at the middle and high school level for more than 7 years. I am currently certified with a Reading and ESOL endorsement.

Approach

I believe that every student has the potential to become a confident reader. My approach is personalized and focused on building a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring literature. I use a variety of strategies to engage learners, including the gradual release model, phonics, guided reading, or literacy games.
