Fun Facts

One sport I truly and affiliated with is basketball. I watch every NBA game I have a chance to see and I have recently started to go to the park everyday to practice my jump shots. I am the eldest of 3 children and I love trying out new things! I would call myself a daredevil but sometimes I do chicken out on certain things. My instagram name is even called "evilkennyvil" based on the famous Evel Knievel himself.

About Me

I am a third year Biomedical Engineering Major at San Jose State University. I was on the Dean's List last year and am hoping to be a successful engineer in the future. I don't limit myself to just engineering, but understand that all the opportunities brought upon me in life is acceptable to pursue. I just want to make a difference in the world and help people in any way I can. That is why I am interested in tutoring, I want to help people excel in the subjects I have previously excelled in.

Experience

Throughout my years of going to school, even back in my high school days I have had experience tutoring. I have not tutored professionally, but I was the student everybody in the class asked to help them with their homework. It was consistent throughout all my years. Some people hate the idea of people asking them for help, but for me it's different. I love the opportunity it gives me in helping someone better understand material that I already understand. It lifts up my mood knowing I can help.

Approach

In my early days, people considered me as one of the smartest of the class. I was the one that people sat next to during class so they can have someone to ask if they get lost during the lecture. Every time someone asks for help with a subject I respond positively and commit to help them in all ways possible. I am the type of person who gives their all to help someone in any way possible. As a tutor, I hope to continue my ways with other students in high levels of education!
