I love music! I play the tuba semiprofessionally and recently picked up the bass guitar. I also really love cooking and exploring new cuisines!

About Me

I graduated from Mercer University with a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and minors in math and chemistry. I am very passionate about STEM, and math is my favorite subject! I am a science teacher looking to transition to public health and pursue my Master in Public Health!

Experience

I have worked with students of all ages, from 1st-grade to 2nd-year college students. I have experience as an elementary math tutor, a high-dosage tutor in high school mathematics, a college precalculus and calculus I teaching assistant and a college chemistry teaching assistant.

Approach

I believe in patience and trying different ways to come to a solution. It is rewarding to see a student who has been struggling with a concept have that "Aha!" moment and slowly gain confidence in the subject area.
