Fun Facts
I LOVE travel - it is absolutely my passion. The best thing about travel is that it forces me to humble myself in a way to lets me learn more about the world, others, and myself, all while having fun. I've gotten to 51 countries and am always looking forward to exploring new ones!
About Me
I am a recent graduate of UCLA's Master of Urban and Regional Planning program. I have just moved to Chicago to settle down and pursue a career.
Experience
I have volunteered as a math tutor at the elementary level, volunteered at an after-school science program, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for both undergraduate- and graduate-level classes across disciplines.
Approach
I myself know that the education system does not work for everyone; I was in my final year of undergraduate studies when I was diagnosed with a learning disability. My mission is to get my students to find their own potential from within - I am not trying to teach, but to get students to truly understand the material in a way that works for them and that allows them to succeed in the classroom.
