Fun Facts
I love to travel. My childhood was spent living in the United Kingdom, I had the opportunity to visit so many countries, and now and then my British accent would come out.
About Me
I am an elementary school teacher who has been teaching in the Cartwright School District for 19 years. I have taught first grade and kindergarten. I love teaching the younger grades. Their brains are like sponges that absorb everything, and they are so eager to learn. I have also been a tutor for 5 years for middle school and high school students.
Experience
Through my 19 years of experience in teaching, I have been a coach, a mentor, a leader, a mother, a tutor, and an excellent teacher to all of my students by providing them with exceptional results in their education.
Approach
I am an only child, and I never knew what having a sibling was like. I also struggled in elementary school, and remember if a teacher would just explain this to me in a different way, or give me time to think instead of yelling or using words that were not okay, I would understand it, but it just went into feeling bad about myself and not wanting to learn at all.
This all sparked an interest in myself wanting to become a teacher. Being around students, and learning that yelling and using words
