I am a big fan of adventure and making memories! I have traveled internationally several times, however visiting Europe is next on my bucket list. I’m also from a big family, so there’s never a dull moment. Plus, I’m super creative and crafty—I’m always finding new projects to work on!

About Me

I am a senior at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, majoring in psychology with a concentration in mental health. I have a deep interest in child and family studies and am driven to help young learners reach their fullest potential. I find it incredibly rewarding to witness growth and progress, and I’m eager to make a positive impact in supporting their learning experience.

Experience

While balancing a full course load and a part-time job, I have gained hands-on experience as a mentor for family and friends, helping younger siblings, cousins, and family friends of all ages with their academic needs. In addition, I have assisted other students in peer review services and served as a participant in on-campus student research and mental health services, which has broadened my understanding of applied psychology and strengthened my commitment to supporting others.

Approach

Growing up shy and reserved used to prevent me from seeking additional help, making my learning experience difficult at times. Because of this, I deeply empathize with young learners who may face similar challenges. As a tutor, I would find it my responsibility to not only help teach content but to also equip learners with skills such as organization, creative thinking, reading comprehension, problem-solving, goal setting, etc. that will help them thrive across all subjects.
