About Me
I was born in China in 1987. My family and I moved to washington/seattle">Seattle area when I was twelve. There, I completed Middle School and High School with 3.96 in GPA. In college, I participated in college debate, college quiz bowl, campus Christian fellowship and student government. I graduated from the chicago">University of Chicago in 2010 with BA in Political Science and Economics.
For two years, I worked as a SAT and ACT chicago">tutor. I tutored fifteen students privately in Chicago over the past four years. For most of them, we focused on high school math. I also tutored other homework subjects as well, including AP classes in English, History and Physics. All of them were satisfied with my help.
I rely heavily on interacting with the students and making them solve the problems with me. In other words, instead of making myself solving the whole problem, I would often ask a student to try to solve parts of it on his/her own and only give hints when needed. This way, they can learn the problem solving skills in addition to the concepts.
