About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor where I studied conservation biology. I just completed a year working in a native plant nursery in Hawaii and I am now pursuing a graduate degree.

Experience

While going to school, I worked at a private tutoring company for three years in Michigan. Over that time, I worked with students as young as kindergarten and up to adults looking to take entrance exams for careers in trades. I have experience with many subjects, types of students, and academic goals.

Approach

Throughout my experience as a tutor, I have found that each student is unique in their needs and goals. I take pride in my ability to adapt to each student and connect with them while teaching in a positive, relaxed manner. I hope to ignite a passion for learning and show the value of education.
