Fun Facts

One thing about me is that I love sports, mainly soccer, basketball and tennis. Whenever I have the chance I like to get active and work on my game. I'm always listening to music. My favorite genre is rock. I recently bought an electric guitar and I'm excited to start learning to play some of my favorite songs!

About Me

I am a sophomore Human Development and Family Sciences major at UConn. I plan on receiving my teaching certificate after I graduate to gain experience as a teacher. I hope to eventually enroll in grad school to obtain my doctorate degree. My goal and dream job is to teach as a professor at a college.

Experience

At UConn I am currently a First-Year-Experience Mentor, meaning I am assigned a professor to assist in their class. I've had the opportunity to aid the students with all sorts of challenges that they face as a freshman at UConn. As an FYE Mentor, I have learned to adapt and improvise because of the needs of each student being so different. With Frog Tutoring, I hope to be a positive influence on many more students!

Approach

As a student myself, I feel that a little goes a long way and it's important to have support systems. Having someone to coach and believe in you is sometimes the key component to making huge progress. It's essential to have strong foundations in each subject and simplify concepts as much as possible. Practice makes perfect and through repetition, anyone can reach mastery.
